No fear

This image is titled “No Fear” and is an expression of how I want to approach my portrait business, and my life for that matter, each and every day.

Yulady is a beautiful woman, inside and out. She describes herself as a Colombiana, Mom of 6, Former ostomate, soon to be an ostomate again, Breast Cancer Survivor.

Although her body has been through rough times, she doesn’t give up. She lives each day fully and honestly.

We made this image of her in the woods behind my home a few months ago. Soon after, she found out she would need to have yet another surgery, this time to replace part of her colon with a colostomy bag.

As I write, she is back in the hospital due to complications from surgery. She is a gifted yoga teacher and one of her generous followers on Instagram created a Go Fund Me page to help with her medical journey. I’m sharing the link if you’d like to help her out.
