Glamour Photowalk 2014 – Great fun and good news!

“If you don’t have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?”  I have always loved that line from the musical South Pacific.

Similarly, how you gonna win a contest without entering?  I try to enter photo contests as often as I can muster the courage, which doesn’t happen as often as it should. This year I entered the Glamour Photowalk 2014, which was sponsored by Lori and Photo Communiqué.

This was a fabulous evening of photoshoots at the NYC High Line.  Photographers shooting photographers.  Even though I wore my snazzy red leather jacket and had my hair cut that day, no one asked me to be their model  so I kept busy taking pictures.

A few days ago I found out I was one of the four winners!    I won for BEST OVERALL POSING.  Nice!  Here is the winning shot.

Thank you to creativeLive and Sue Bryce for the prizes- I’m excited to add another workshop to my collection!

And THANK YOU Lori, for organizing this wonderful community event.  Next time I’ll get my makeup done and hopefully get on the other side of the camera!
