THANKFUL FOR THE JOURNEY

All great adventures end in New Jersey, Elizabeth Gilbert (“Eat Pray Love”) recently said. She lives here now, as do I. When we relocated here in November 2013, I didn’t know a single person. We bought a house and settled in, and in July 2014 I opened my portrait studio.

Starting over was challenging, but not hard, because I truly love doing what I do. A wise woman named Regena Thomashauer (aka Mama Gena) has a fun way of describing a fabulous way to live our lives.  She advises us to put our key in our own ignition, turn that baby on and take her down the highway.  And invite passengers to join us!

These are some of the passengers who have joined me for a ride this year.

Gorgeous goddesses who invested in portraits that they and their loved ones will cherish. Dashing men (and women) who desired photos to attract business, gigs, and dates. High School Seniors celebrating their entry into adulthood. And adorable children whose professional acting careers are launching, and now have beautiful headshots for their auditions.

I I loved photographing every one of you.  THANK YOU. You are phenomenal and awesome.

And thank YOU, for spending time with me just now.

May your Thanksgiving replenish you with love, life, and laughter.
