A Portrait of a Dancer

Every once in awhile I do a shoot when I just can’t stop taking pictures. This was one of them. The combination of Emily’s beauty, the elegance of her lines, and then bringing it all outdoors, it was so much fun!

I had done Emily’s high school senior portraits when we both were living in the Kansas City area. When she graduated from college with a degree in dance she was in New York and booked a session so we could get some photos for her dance portfolio. We were both stunned by what we created together.
