A woman with a special heart

Liz is a Go Red For Women national Spokeswoman, and a survivor of heart disease. Her mission is to inspire others to make healthy changes in their life, to lead a heart-healthy life.

I had photographed her daughter Emily when she graduated from high school, and again when she graduated from college. Last month I got to photograph Liz!

What better way to celebrate life and a fiftieth birthday. Every woman deserves to have beautiful portraits of herself, and I’m so happy that Liz now has these images. She can see the stunningly gorgeous woman that we see. Sometimes as a busy mom, it’s easy to forget how beautiful we are.

Liz said that her husband will love the image on the left, I agree! On on the right, we see her scar from open heart surgery, and an aura of bravery and strength.

Each time I talk with Liz I feel like a better person. She is uplifting, wise, honest, and really funny. She has a warm and generous spirit, and an incredibly special heart. Liz, I loved photographing you, and I’m so happy to have you in my life!
